The Potential of Wearables for Exploring Mechanisms of Music-Based Interventions for Pain
This webinar explores the potential of wearable and mobile sensing technologies for studying the mechanisms and outcomes of music-based interventions for pain. The presentation will consider how continuous behavioral and physiological data can help researchers better characterize individual responses and support more personalized, real-world evaluation of pain interventions.
Amir M. Rahmani, Ph.D., is Co-Director of the UCI Institute for Future Health and a professor in the Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing and the Department of Computer Science at the University of California, Irvine. His interdisciplinary research spans artificial intelligence for health, wearable and mobile sensing, health informatics, machine learning, and physiological signal analysis.
