Generative AI in Health Hackathon

We organized a one-week take-home Generative AI in Health Hackathon kicking off on November 9 and concluding on November 16, co-hosted by IFH, NVIDIA, StartX, and HealthUnity.

The event attracted significant interest, with approximately 180 participants registering to show their creativity and innovation in applying generative AI to healthcare challenges. Ten teams were selected to present their projects during a final showcase held on November 16. Their projects were evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges, comprising leading experts in the field, who selected the most innovative and impactful solutions as the winners.

To support participants throughout the week, we provided resources, including guidance on leveraging LLM agent frameworks such as openCHA, along with access to multiple software tools and health and nutrition datasets, enabling participants to develop projects with real-world applications and relevance.
