From Wearables to LLMs: Building Agentic AI for Personalized Digital Healthcare
This presentation examines how Living Labs, adaptive study designs, multimodal wearable and mobile data, and large language models can support personalized digital mental healthcare. It explores agentic systems that learn and adapt in real-world settings and demonstrates how platforms such as Centralive and openCHA can connect continuous sensing with intelligent, conversational health support.
Amir M. Rahmani, Ph.D., is Co-Director of the UCI Institute for Future Health and a professor in the Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing and the Department of Computer Science at the University of California, Irvine. His interdisciplinary research spans artificial intelligence for health, wearable and mobile sensing, health informatics, machine learning, affective computing, and physiological signal analysis.
