Personal Care Utility (PCU)
The Personal Care Utility (PCU) is a continuous, person-centered health infrastructure designed to bridge the gap between episodic clinical care and the 8,759 hours of everyday life where health is actually shaped. PCU organizes multimodal personal data — from wearables, sensors, and self-report — into meaningful life events, estimates health state against personal baselines, and delivers personalized, knowledge-grounded guidance through an AI-driven orchestration system. Its first implementation is the PCU-Diabetes Project at GIFT City, Gandhinagar, Gujarat (2026), in partnership with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, the Government of Gujarat, and IFH at UC Irvine.
