PERFECT: Personalized Exercise Recommendation Framework and Architecture
This project develops a personalized exercise recommendation system that adapts to each individual’s health profile and daily context. By integrating wearable trackers, IoT devices, and mobile health applications, the system collects physiological and behavioral data to generate tailored exercise plans using reinforcement learning and contextual bandit algorithms. Early deployment with college students shows significant increases in daily physical activity and high satisfaction with the personalized recommendations. PERFECT demonstrates how intelligent, data-driven interventions can enhance fitness, boost confidence, and open a new era of personalized health through mHealth technologies.
