Global Emerging Technologies (GET) Digital Health Informatics




IFH was co-hosted the GET Digital Health Informatics Forum (ISO/TC215 + IEEE-SA + HL7 International) at UC Irvine on November 6 and November 7, 2024.
 

International Digital Health Informatics Standards Expert (from all across the globe: Canada, China, Japan, Korea, India, Norway, Spain, UK & US) are assembling along with industry, academia & government entities to present, discuss & deliberate about global emerging technologies for digital health and how standards, informatics and technology is shaping our lives in the 21st century!
 

Focus: Key focus areas include personalized health navigation, food computing & A2L: Ageing, Longevity & Lifestyle.

The Digital Health Informatics Forum brings together international standards experts from over 10 countries and US based expert from the industry, academia and government. This is a unique opportunity to listen, learn, collaborate and network amongst these global leaders. 

Today’s focus is on some of the activities of ISO/TC215 Work Group#11: Personalized Digital Health (PDH): Personal Health Navigation (PHN) and Food & Nutrition (F&N) and how informatics is playing a crucial role in shaping our health in the 21st century!

The focus of today’s Forum is to gain perspective on current research and projects in the area of Aging, Longevity & Lifestyle (A2L), followed by an open discussion of how the international community might collaborate to create standards and other tools to facilitate communities’ efforts to create environments that support the lessons learned as well as continued research. The objective is to identify both a vision for this work within ISO/TC 215 and the broader standards community and capture the results of this workshop and lay out a strategy for advancing international standardization.
